Flood advisory for Marin County until Thursday morning triggered by significant rainfall
Marin County is under a flood advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:57 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 6 a.m.
The NWS San Francisco CA said, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”
“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent,” according to the NWS. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
