Wind advisory in place for Carquinez Strait and Delta and Northern San Joaquin Valley until Thursday night

Carquinez Strait and Delta and Northern San Joaquin Valley are under a wind advisory which was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:24 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 10 p.m.

“South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 35 to 45 mph expected,” the NWS Sacramento CA said. “Strongest winds will follow ongoing precipitation during the morning hours. A few gusts up to 50 mph can’t be ruled out.”
