Senior Kerala Congress MLA K Babu steps down from electoral politics

Tripunithura MLA K Babu announced his decision to step down from electoral politics. He will not contest the upcoming Assembly elections for personal reasons. Babu has a long political career, having contested seven Assembly elections since 1991 and won six. He served as Ports Minister and initiated key projects like the Vizhinjam International Seaport.
