Waree unit to set up ₹8,175 crore battery gigafactory in Andhra Pradesh

Waree Energy Storage Solution plans to set up a 16 GWh lithium-ion gigafactory in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district with an investment of ₹8,175 crore, in what is expected to be India’s largest integrated battery manufacturing facility covering cells, battery packs and grid-scale storage systems.
