Twelve people deported after immigration checks in Paphos

Police carried out 12 deportations following coordinated immigration checks in the Paphos district on Wednesday.

During the operation, a total of 19 individuals were arrested for residing illegally in the Republic, 12 of whom were deported immediately.

Police said procedures for the deportation of the remaining seven individuals are underway in cooperation with the competent authorities.
