Aggressive wild tusker darted, relocated to Satkosia

An aggressive wild tusker from Chandaka wildlife sanctuary was safely tranquilized and relocated. The 25-year-old elephant was fitted with a radio collar and transported in a special vehicle to Satkosia Tiger Reserve. Forest officials released the pachyderm in a deep core area. Its movements will be continuously tracked. This relocation aims to prevent further human-wildlife conflict.
