300 Naxals on target of security forces to meet March deadline, officials say

Security forces are intensifying operations to eliminate around 300 Maoists, including four senior commanders, by the March 2026 deadline. Misir Besra, Devji, Rammanna, and Mallah Raja Reddy are among those targeted. Major operations are underway along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. The government is committed to eradicating Naxalism by March 31, 2026.
