Lazio plan 2032 opening of new €480m Stadio Flaminio

February 18 – The proposed overhaul of Lazio’s Stadio Flaminio will carry a projected price tag of €480 million, with ambitions for the ground to stage its first fixture in 2032.

Claudio Lotito, president of SS Lazio, presented the plans last week, setting out a redevelopment that would more than double the stadium’s current 20,000 capacity to 50,750.

“It’s not just a construction project, it’s a vision,” Lotito said.

“The redevelopment of the Stadio Flaminio isn’t just about SS Lazio.
