Flood advisory for Los Angeles and Ventura counties until Wednesday morning triggered by substantial rainfall
Los Angeles and Ventura counties are under a flood advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 8:49 p.m. The advisory is in effect until Wednesday Feb. 18, at 6 a.m.
According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”
“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rock and mud slides possible. Minor debris flows possible,” according to the NWS. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.
