Volleyball BC Seeks to Develop a Facilities Strategy

Since 2022, Volleyball BC has experienced growth of over 47%, with participants in youth club volleyball at a record high in 2026.  Beach volleyball is demonstrating a similar increase in popularity with the number of teams participating in Provincial Championships increasing from 277 to 372 in just 12 months. 

While this growth is a positive indicator of the sport’s vitality and appeal, access to facilities is a significant challenge and barrier to the ability of Volleyball BC and its member clubs to meet this demand.
