Chardham Yatra pilgrims to pay registration fee this year

Devotees embarking on the Chardham Yatra starting April 19 will face a minimum registration fee. Officials announced this decision to prevent fake registrations. The registration process will be simplified and transparent. A committee will address concerns from stakeholders. The pilgrimage begins on Akshaya Tritiya with Gangotri and Yamunotri opening first. Kedarnath and Badrinath temple doors will open later in April.
