Kaiser Permanente says 40% of striking workers are back at work
As the Kaiser labor strike enters its fourth week, the health care giant is estimating that 40% of its 31,000 union registered nurses and other workers have begun returning to work.
On Monday, the Oakland-based company said about 12,400 striking employees were back at work in California and Hawaii, with as many as 58% of staff members returning to work in some locations.
