Michigan reaches No. 1 for first time since 2013
For the first time in 13 years, Michigan is the No. 1 team in The Associated Press men's college basketball poll.
The Wolverines (24-1) claimed 60 of 61 first-place votes on Monday to dethrone Arizona (23-2), whose nine-week Top 25 reign ended after back-to-back losses to Kansas and Texas Tech last week.
Michigan enters a challenging week with a 10-game winning streak, scheduled to visit No. 7 Purdue (21-4) on Tuesday before meeting No. 3 Duke (23-2) on Saturday in Washington, D.C.
