Forces on alert over Maoist ‘presence’ at Gandhamardan

Security forces are on high alert in the Gandhamardan hills, bracing for a potential anti-Maoist operation following intelligence indicating the presence of around 10 Maoists. The group, reportedly led by state committee member Sudarshan, is believed to be attempting to revive the weakened Maoist base in the region.
