West Bengal chief secretary urges Election Commission to extend document upload deadline for voter inclusion

West Bengal Chief Secretary Nandini Chakraborty has urged the Election Commission to reopen the ECInet portal. This is to allow uploading of documents for voters whose hearings concluded on February 13th or 14th. The portal closure risks excluding many valid voters from the electoral roll. This could prevent them from exercising their franchise.
