Smriti Mandhana crowned BBC Indian Sportswoman of 2025

Smriti Mandhana received the BBC Indian Sportswoman of the Year award for 2025. This recognition follows India's historic 2025 Women's World Cup win. Other awards included Emerging Player for Divya Deshmukh and Para-Sportswoman for Preethi Pal. Anjali Bhagwat was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The Indian Women's Cricket Team also received an award for their World Cup victory.
