Seahawks expected to poach 49ers assistant to replace Kubiak as offensive coordinator

Brian Fleury is reportedly defecting from the 49ers’ coaching staff to become the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator, a week after Seattle won Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium.

He will replace Klint Kubiak, who was hired as the Las Vegas Raiders’ coach and worked with Fleury on the 2023 49ers’ staff under Kyle Shanahan.

Fleury coached George Kittle and the 49ers’ other tight ends the past four seasons after joining the 49ers in 2019 as a defensive quality control coach.
