Central projects worth Rs 55,000 cr approved in last 1 yr: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced central projects worth Rs 55,000 crore have been sanctioned in the past year. Several new infrastructure projects are planned, including a ropeway, an elevated corridor in Guwahati, and highway upgrades. A significant Rs 18,662 crore twin-tube tunnel under the Brahmaputra has also been approved.
