Retired HC judge to head judicial probe into blast at Meghalaya's illegal coal mine

A judicial panel has been formed to investigate a deadly blast at an illegal coal mine in Meghalaya. Retired judge Justice RS Chauhan leads the three-member team. The panel will determine accountability for the February 5 incident that killed 31 people. It will also examine the causes of illegal mining and recommend measures for affected workers.
