(Albawaba) -- Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa was subjected to five assassination attempts in one year, a report released by the United Nations revealed.

Syria's Minister of Interior Anas Khattab and Minister of Foreign Affairs Asaad al-Shaibani have also survived multiple assassination attempts during the past year, the UN mentioned.
