Flood watch issued for Los Angeles County for Monday due to intense rainfall
Los Angeles County is under a flood watch which was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:20 p.m. The watch is valid for Monday, Feb. 16 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. Rock and mud slides are possible near steep terrain. Debris flows are possible on burn scars.”
“Flash flooding is possible. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of low-lying and flood-prone locations, including creeks and streams.
