Yaxel Lendeborg had 17 points and eight rebounds to lead No. 2 Michigan to an 86-66 victory over the Bruins on Saturday, putting the Wolverines in position to be ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2013.
No. 1 Arizona lost Monday night on the road against No. 9 Kansas, giving the Wolverines (24-1, 14-1 Big Ten) a path to the top spot in the poll with their 10th consecutive victory.
