Tipu Sultan's portrait removed from Malegaon civic office after row

A portrait of Tipu Sultan was removed from the Malegaon Municipal Corporation. Deputy Mayor Shaan E-Hind Nihal Ahmed had placed it in her chamber. The BJP and Shiv Sena opposed the move, calling it against protocol. Ahmed defended the action, stating Tipu Sultan was a freedom fighter. The portrait was removed after threats of protests.
