Cabinet clears Rs 18,509 crore Rail projects, expansion of Noida Metro

The Union Cabinet has approved three major railway projects worth over Rs 18,000 crore. These projects will add nearly 400 km to the rail network across Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. They aim to boost capacity, lower logistics costs, and improve connectivity. The initiatives are expected to be completed by 2030-31 and will create significant employment opportunities.
