Woman demands Rs 2 crore for ‘bad haircut’; after 7-year legal fight, Court orders ITC Maurya Hotel to pay Rs 25 lakh

The Supreme Court has ordered ITC's Maurya Hotel to pay Rs 25 lakh to model Aashna Roy for a "bad haircut". The woman had raised a complaint against the hotel demanding Rs 2 crore compensation. The model had moved the NCDRC in 2018 after she claimed she suffered due to a faulty haircut at the hotel’s salon.
