CBSE to discontinue post-result verification for Class 12 with rollout of digital evaluation

CBSE is ditching post-result mark verification for Class-12 exams, moving to a fully digital evaluation system from 2026. This On Screen Marking (OSM) aims to eliminate totalling errors and reduce manual intervention, allowing teachers to evaluate from their schools. Class-10 evaluations will remain physical. The board conducted extensive reviews and dry runs before implementing this reform.
