Indian GCCs set to add 1.2-1.4 lakh hands to their rolls this year

Indian GCCs are set to expand in 2026, adding tens of thousands of new jobs, even as AI-led automation may cut over 10,000 roles in predictable, repetitive functions. About half of those cuts are expected only at tech captive centres as companies scale AI tools from trials to production across functions, according to industry estimates.
