Utah’s Ace Bailey and Washington’s Bub Carrington named injury replacements for 2026 Castrol Rising Stars

Two new rising stars will head to San Francisco for All-Star weekend.

Utah forward Ace Bailey and Washington guard Bub Carrington were named to the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars team on Thursday.

Bailey replaces fellow rookie Cooper Flagg of the Dallas Mavericks on Team Melo. Flagg is unable to participate because of a left midfoot sprain.

Carrington replaces fellow sophomore Alex Sarr of the Wizards on Team T-Mac. Sarr is unable to participate because of a right hamstring strain.
