Shivaprakash Murder Case: Police arrest BJP MLA BA Basavaraj after SC denies bail

Bengaluru Rural Police arrested BJP MLA BA Basavaraj. The arrest followed the Supreme Court's refusal of his anticipatory bail plea. He is implicated in the murder of rowdy-sheeter Shivaprakash alias Bikla Shiva. The Devanahalli police took him into custody at the international airport. The Criminal Investigation Department is now probing the case.
