J&K proposes regulatory framework in draft new media policy 2026

The Jammu and Kashmir government said it has proposed provisions in the draft New Media Policy-2026 to create a regulatory framework for new and social media along with print media. The proposal is under inter-departmental consultation and was prepared in response to the growth of digital platforms.
