Daily wagers, contractual staff protest in Srinagar seeking regularisation of services

Daily wagers and contractual employees from various government departments staged a protest in Srinagar along with their families, demanding regularisation of their services. The JK Employees Joint Action Committee said they would protest again outside the National Conference office if the Omar Abdullah-led government does not clarify its policy and fulfil its promises.
