More Than 22,000 Pounds of Raw Beef Recalled for Potential E. Coli Contamination

Three states have been warned about potentially contaminated ground beef following an announcement from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) Wednesday.

CS Beef Packers, LLC, based out of Idaho, in conjunction with the FSIS, has recalled approximately 22,912 pounds of raw ground beef that may be contaminated with E. coli O145. FSIS testing showed the presence of E. coli O145 in some of the meat.
