Pakistan, UN discuss Afghanistan security in Islamabad
Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, met a UNAMA delegation in Islamabad to discuss cross-border terrorism and regional security challenges.
The meeting included UN Humanitarian Coordinator Indrika Ratwatte and UNAMA’s head in Islamabad, focusing on security developments, trade, and regional cooperation issues.
Sadiq Khan said both sides stressed the importance of ensuring Afghanistan territory is not used against other countries and highlighted coordinated regional responses to threats.
