Flipkart may dig into food delivery business

Flipkart, owned by Walmart, is assessing entry into online food delivery, starting with a Bengaluru pilot around May-June and a wider launch later. It is exploring a standalone platform or a buyer-side app on ONDC, after earlier plans did not progress. The $9 billion market is dominated by Zomato and Swiggy, with growth projected to FY30.
