Paris appeals court sets verdict in far-right leader Le Pen’s graft case for July 7

A Paris appeals court on Wednesday set July 7 as the date it will issue its ruling in far-right leader Marine Le Pen’s EU parliament funds misuse case. A lower court last year banned her from public office for five years, and if the appeals court upholds that ruling, she will be unable to run in next year’s presidential election.
