National highway projects delayed over land acquisition hurdles & forest clearances: Gadkari

National highway projects are facing delays due to land acquisition and forest clearance issues, according to Union minister Nitin Gadkari. He clarified that funding isn't the problem. Work on five bridges along NH-326 has even been stopped because contractors are behind schedule. Odisha has received substantial funds for its highway development plans.
