AirAsia to place order for small airliners, drop A330neo

AirAsia X is set to place a large order for new small jets. This move aims to open up new routes and flights for travelers across Asia. The airline will cancel its existing order for 15 Airbus A330neo aircraft. A decision on whether to choose Airbus or Embraer regional models will be announced soon.
