Update: Flood advisory issued for Los Angeles and Ventura counties until 1 a.m. Wednesday

Los Angeles and Ventura counties are under an updated flood advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 11:37 p.m. The advisory is in effect until Wednesday Feb. 11, at 1:30 a.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA adds to expect, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.”

“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent,” the NWS said. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.
