Former dual AFL premiership player Peter Dean is recovering in hospital after sustaining serious head and facial injuries in an alleged assault in Albury. The 60-year-old was found unconscious on a footpath after reportedly confronting teenagers attempting to break into cars. A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident.
