Police Officer Killed After Amusement Ride Collapses

A horrific scene unfolded at the 39th Surajkund International Crafts Fair in Faridabad, India, where a so-called swinging "tsunami" ride collapsed and killed at least one person.

According to The Times of India, the swing collapsed at around 6:30 p.m. local time. The outlet reports that at least 26 people were riding the swing when it became unhinged. The ride hung mid-air as passengers were strapped to their seats.

Bystanders rushed to the scene to offer help, including Inspector Jagdish Prasa.
