High wind warning in place for Los Angeles County until early Wednesday morning – gusts could peak at 60 mph
Los Angeles County is under a high wind warning which was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 7:03 p.m. The warning is in effect until Wednesday Feb. 11, at 4 a.m.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA adds to expect, “South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.”
“Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” according to the NWS. “Watch for falling debris and tree limbs.
