From SBI to PNB: How much PSU banks made from minimum balance & SMS charges

Punjab National Bank (PNB) collected the highest amount from savings account customers for minimum balance non-maintenance among PSU banks in FYs 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25, totaling Rs 1,577.87 crore. Indian Bank and State Bank of India followed in second and third place respectively. Union Bank of India led in SMS facility charges during the same period.
