Van catches fire in Limassol

A van in Yermasoyia, Limassol, went up in flames just before midnight, causing damage to the engine.

The Mercedes van was in the carpark of a block of flats when it caught fire.

Fire brigade spokesman Andreas Kettis said they were informed of the fire at 11.56pm on Monday.

No one was in danger and evacuating the block of flats was not necessary.
