'Practical Magic' Being Developed Into a Musical with Norah Jones Attached

The movie Practical Magic is being turned into a musical!

Grammy-winning singer Norah Jones is attached to co-write the the music for the stage show with songwriter Gregg Wattenberg.

Alice Hoffman, who wrote the best-selling novel, will write the book for the musical alongside Peter Duchan.

In a statement, Alice said, “I’m so excited to be working with my amazing collaborators on bringing Practical Magic to the stage. This story of love and sisterhood is meant for the theater.
