Inter star Dimarco sets new assists record for defenders after 5-0 Sassuolo victory

Inter and Italy star Federico Dimarco has set a new record for the most assists provided by a defender in Serie A after 24 matches after laying on three goals for his teammates during Sunday evening’s 5-0 victory away against Sassuolo.

Dimarco was the star of the show as Inter picked up a 5-0 victory away against Sassuolo with five different players on the scoresheet: Yann Bisseck, Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez, Manuel Akanji and Luis Henrique.
