€40 million to be spent on Paralimni upgrade projects

The construction of a €6.7 million multi-storey car park in Paralimni dominates a list of projects set to get underway in 2026, its mayor said on Monday.

Speaking to the Cyprus News Agency, mayor Giorgos Nikolettos described 2026 as a year of “development intensity” for the Paralimni-Deryneia municipality.

He said projects of around €40 million will address social policies, sports, cultural, urban renewal, traffic infrastructure and sustainable development.
