No directive yet to reverse metro fare hike: Bangalore Metro Rail Corp

Bengaluru Metro fares will rise from Monday. BMRCL has not received orders to halt the fare hike. BJP MP Tejasvi Surya stated Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar asked for a temporary hold. Surya also mentioned commuters are unhappy with frequent fare changes. Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy blamed the state government for the increase.
