Congress failed to link farmers to global markets: Shivraj Singh Chouhan on allegations over India-US trade deal

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday defended the India-US trade pact and rejected Congress criticism, saying the agreement protects the agriculture sector and keeps farmers’ interests at the centre. He said key farm products have been kept out and no concession has been given on items that are important for cultivators.
