Punjab suspends two IAS officers over 6-year delay in Anganwadi smartphone procurement

Two senior IAS officers, Kamal Kishore Yadav and Jaspreet Singh, have been suspended by the Punjab government. The action follows a six-year delay in procuring smartphones for Anganwadi workers. Sources indicate the vendor approached the court due to the prolonged delay. Two other IAS officers have also been transferred in connection with this matter.
