"Will strengthen Make-in-India and open opportunities," Minister Hardeep Puri hails framework of India-US trade agreement

India and the United States have formalized a framework for a Bilateral Trade Agreement. This agreement aims to strengthen the 'Make in India' initiative. It will create extensive opportunities for farmers, MSMEs, and startups. The pact will also deepen investment and technology partnerships between the two nations. The US will apply a reciprocal tariff rate on Indian originating goods.
